Pinchbeck at British Watchmakers’ Day

We’ve been in business for many years, and taking part in watch shows is just a small part of that business which enables us to better communicate with our customers.

British Watchmakers’ Day was the first such event organised by the Alliance of British Watch and Clock Makers, and it took place in Victoria, London. It was a sell-out, attended by 1,200 enthusiasts and collectors from all over the UK, as well as many from overseas. Pinchbeck was one of 44 exhibitors, and, like the others, we welcomed a constant stream of visitors to our stand.

It was great to meet so many new faces, as well as old friends, some of whom were wearing their Pinchbeck watches to the show! If you were one of our visitors: thank you for coming, it was very good to see you and put a face to the name.

We really enjoyed talking to our enthusiastic guests, to show them our watches, learn what they thought, and discuss what they might like to see from us in the future.

Many remarked on the beauty of our watches, as they were able to try them on, and appreciate the quality feel, and luxurious leather straps. Compliments ranged from the clear simplicity of the George, to the subtle way the light plays and reflects from the precisely-machined dials of the Orpheus and the Lindum. That’s why, as a mainly-online brand, we have always offered a 30-day ‘no-quibble’ guarantee, to give you the confidence to order and to try the watch at home on your own wrist. In addition, we welcome visitors to our Lincoln premises (by prior arrangement please), to see watches ‘in the flesh’, as well as making sure that the pictures on our website are to the highest possible standards.

And, after the success of British Watchmakers’ Day, we hope to take our watches to more events in the future!
