Watchmaker’s Special

A Study in Contrast

£3500.00

This Watchmaker’s Special has been assembled by hand in Lincoln, directly from the bench of our watchmaker, Rob.

At its centre sits a pale cream dial; calm, refined, and deliberately understated. Simple markers and polished silver hands for hours, minutes, and seconds ensure clarity at a glance, allowing the watch to feel balanced and quietly confident.

In contrast, the strap tells a different story.

Created specifically for this piece by Tanner Bates, the leather carries a worn, textured character. Rich in tone and tactile in finish, it introduces depth and individuality, a deliberate counterpoint to the smoothness of the dial.

Together, they create a watch defined by contrast.
Refined and rugged. Quiet and expressive.

The 41mm case provides presence on the wrist without excess, making it suitable for everyday wear while remaining distinctly individual.

This is not part of a wider collection.
It is an expression of the Pinchbeck design language, shaped by craft, assembled with intent, and unlikely to be repeated.
