Watchmaker’s Special

Every so often, Rob, our master watchmaker, steps away from the familiar Pinchbeck designs to create something entirely his own. These pieces aren’t planned, they aren’t part of any collection, and they certainly aren’t repeated often. They’re simply expressions of pure watchmaking instinct.

This newest Watchmaker’s Special is a perfect example.

The watch features a beautifully soft parchment dial, printed with crisp black Roman numerals and a traditional minute track. It feels timeless, calm, and effortlessly refined.

Rob hand-paints the hour and minute hands in a muted green-grey tone, a colour carefully matched to the bespoke strap. The black seconds hand ties the whole design together.

The strap itself is Tanner Bates Grigio leather, handmade specifically for this piece. Its gentle, earthy tone complements the dial and hands with perfect balance.

This Watchmaker’s Special is available only in a handful of pieces, shaped directly by Rob’s eye and hand. It’s for the collector who appreciates subtlety, craftsmanship, and the rare opportunity to own a watch that wasn’t designed for a market, it was designed because inspiration struck.
