A Pinchbeck watch is designed to be worn, lived in, and enjoyed for many years. Like all finely made mechanical objects, regular servicing is an important part of keeping your watch working smoothly and reliably over time.

Before Sending Your Watch:

Before sending a watch to us for servicing or repair, please contact us by email first. This allows us to understand the issue, advise on next steps, and ensure your watch is expected when it arrives. Watches sent without prior contact may experience delays.

Sending Your Watch for Service

When sending your watch, please include a note inside the parcel with the following details:

  • Your full name

  • Return address

  • Contact telephone number

  • Email address

  • A brief description of the issue or service required

This information helps us identify your watch quickly and contact you promptly once it has been received.

We strongly recommend that all watches are sent using Royal Mail Special Delivery (insured and tracked). This ensures your watch is protected and traceable while in transit. Unfortunately, we cannot be responsible for watches lost or damaged in the post.

After Receipt

Once your watch arrives, we will inspect it and contact you to confirm the work required, estimated timescales, and any costs before proceeding. All servicing and repairs are carried out with the same care and attention given to the creation of every Pinchbeck watch.

Regular servicing helps preserve accuracy, reliability, and longevity. Caring for your watch ensures it continues to accompany you through everyday moments and significant milestones, just as it was designed to do.

Battery Changes:

For battery replacements, the process is the same. Please email us before sending your watch so we can expect it, include your contact details inside the parcel, and send using Royal Mail Special Delivery to ensure it arrives safely. Payment for the battery replacement can be made via the link below.
