The Inigo: An Essay in Elegance

The Inigo is more than the George’s big brother. Having said that, its dial bears more than a passing resemblance, with its elegant art deco theme.

On the wrist, it makes a bold statement as it clearly tells the time at the quickest glance, yet at 42mm diameter it’s a great size for practical use. The elegant stainless steel case has an exhibition back that perfectly displays the intricate perfection of the fine Swiss movement, while the deep-cut milling of our Company’s name leaves no doubt about its Pinchbeck DNA.

The Inigo’s quality is, of course, more than skin-deep. Apart from the movement itself the Inigo boats such high-end features as sapphire glass (for maximum scratch resistance) and a screw-down crown (for enhanced moisture resistance. All these elements are lovingly, and expertly, brought together in our English workshop, and after thorough testing the watch is fitted with a handmade strap from the Devon maker Tanner Bates.

What of the name? Not to be confused with the colour Indigo, it’s a tribute to the great English architect Inigo Jones, whose creations include the Queen’s House at Greenwich.
