The Lindum Aureate: A British Watch Inspired by Lincoln and Assembled by Pinchbeck

The Lindum Aureate; A Watch Inspired by Place

Some watches are defined by their mechanics. Others are defined by their design. The Lindum Aureate is shaped by something quieter, the city of Lincoln itself.

Lincoln is a city of warm stone and layered history. Its buildings reflect centuries of craftsmanship, from medieval carvings to intricate window tracery. These architectural details provided the inspiration behind the Lindum collection and its distinctive dial.

The Aureate dial takes its name from its warm golden tone, echoing the colours found in Lincoln’s historic buildings. In changing light, the dial shifts subtly in character, sometimes bright and reflective, sometimes soft and understated.

Each dial is carefully machined and printed before assembly, ensuring clarity and consistency across every watch. Fine detailing and careful finishing allow the dial to remain legible while retaining its depth and character.

At Pinchbeck, each Lindum Aureate is hand-assembled in Lincoln. The assembly process brings together dial, hands, movement and case into a complete watch designed for daily wear.

The Lindum Aureate is not designed to be kept away. It is a watch intended to be worn, through ordinary days as well as significant moments, gradually becoming part of the wearer’s life.

It is, in many ways, a watch about place. But more than that, it is a watch about time spent in that place.
