At Pinchbeck, our watches are shaped as much by place as they are by process.

We are based in Lincoln, working within the historic stone of Exchequer Gate, beside Lincoln Cathedral. It is a setting defined by continuity, where centuries of architecture, craft, and daily life exist side by side.

Inside, each watch is assembled by hand.

The process is careful and deliberate. Components are brought together one at a time, with attention given to proportion, alignment, and finish. It is not a fast way of working, but it is one that allows every watch to feel considered and complete.

Beyond the workshop walls, the city continues, footsteps across stone, voices in the street, the steady movement of life through a place shaped by history. That contrast between stillness and motion is something we value, and it finds its way into the watches we create.

Our collections draw from architecture, culture, and everyday life, interpreted through modern British design. Produced in small numbers and assembled in Lincoln, each watch is made to be worn, not stored away, but lived with over time.

We welcome in person sales by appointment.

For in person sales we have a space within the workshop to view and try on our watches.

Our workshop is located within the historic Exchequer Gate, beside Lincoln Cathedral in Lincoln, a remarkable setting, but one shaped by its age. Access involves stone steps and is unfortunately not mobility-friendly. If visiting the workshop itself is not practical, we are very happy to arrange to meet you in an alternative location nearby, allowing you to view and try the watches in a more accessible setting. Appointments are kept private and unhurried, giving you the time to experience each watch properly.
