Charles: A Special Watch For A Historic Year

We have created the Charles as a limited-edition watch to celebrate the Coronation of King Charles III.

This is a superb gentleman’s timepiece, specially designed as a beautiful and practical memento of Coronation Year, 2023. The traditional dial design is in the official shades of blue and red, as specified for the Coronation Emblem. It’s embellished with His Majesty's Royal Cypher, and, as an added detail of interest, the name Charles is discreetly set within the Roman number III in miniature lettering. 

The caseback includes the Coronation Emblem itself, set under glass. This emblem, created by the revered designer Sir Jony Ives, celebrates the historic beginning of the new reign, and uses the red, white, and blue of the Union flag. It is surrounded by a steel bezel, individually milled* with your watch's unique number in the limited edition of 50.  

Like every Harold Pinchbeck watch, the Charles is assembled by an experienced craftsman in our English workshop, using a superb automatic (self-winding) Swiss-made movement (ETA2824-2). It's fitted with a luxurious leather strap (in black or conker), made exclusively for us by Tanner Bates in Devon. At 42mm in diameter, the Charles is substantial and robust, as well as beautiful: a good size that looks great on most men’s wrists. Naturally, for a fine timepiece, it is fitted with sapphire glass and a screw-down crown. It will be delivered to you in a handmade leather wallet, together with a certificate of authenticity. The price for this exclusive piece of history is £1,999.
