Brushstrokes and Timepieces: Our Artistic Collaboration with Dominic Parczuk

In the world of watchmaking, beauty isn’t confined to the dial. Sometimes, it’s found on the reverse—tucked quietly beneath the surface, waiting to be discovered. This was the inspiration behind our much-loved Lincoln watch, which featured an exclusive miniature artwork by Lincolnshire artist Dominic Parczuk nestled within the caseback.

A celebrated local painter known for his atmospheric cityscapes and emotive use of light, Dominic captured one of the most iconic views in the East Midlands: Lincoln Cathedral rising above the ancient city. Each piece in this limited edition featured a miniature reproduction of Dominic’s original painting, sealed behind sapphire glass and viewable through the exhibition caseback—a subtle nod to heritage, place, and artistry.

The Lincoln watch sold out, but its impact has lingered. It wasn’t just a timepiece—it was a moment in time, a wearable gallery of regional pride and creative collaboration. It reminded us that a watch can be more than just practical; it can also be personal, poetic, and deeply connected to place.

We’re thrilled to share that this autumn, we’ll be working with Dominic once again. The upcoming collaboration will continue the story of art meeting horology, bringing a new, hand-painted vision to life in an entirely fresh creation. We’re not ready to reveal too much just yet—but if you loved the Lincoln, you’ll want to keep an eye on what’s coming.

At Pinchbeck, we believe in making watches that reflect where we come from—and we know that means celebrating the makers who surround us. Dominic Parczuk’s work is a perfect reflection of that vision: rooted in tradition, inspired by the everyday, and always beautifully crafted.
